Anyone interested in
classical chamber music who has nevertheless been wary of attending AEMS
concerts should hear this performance by The New Esterházy Quartet,
the first ensemble in America to play all 68 of Joseph Haydn's completed
string quartets on period instruments. Individually, members of the
quartet have played in some of the most respected Early Music ensembles in
the world; together, they bring this considerable experience to their
current performance of Haydn and Mozart, in addition to their concern for
period performance practices.

to miss this.”
